It all started on one summer afternoon. As I often do, I met with several other business owners here in the Matsu. Just talking about issues, and ways we could help each other. We like to meet weekly to keep the lines of communication open. The conversation is good, the coffee is okay.

That’s when I heard something that stopped me in my tracks: 

In the lower 48, a young girl was playing behind a service van. The technician got in his van to leave and didn’t even notice her….

I knew from that moment that I would do everything in my power to make sure that never happened on my watch. Nothing is more important than protecting family.

At Mammoth Heating, we decided to ALWAYS place a cone behind our vans. A cone clearly visible from the driver’s side mirror. NO EXCEPTIONS! This means that our technicians will always need to walk behind the van to retrieve it before they leave and can never forget to do that crucial last safety check.

We all get busy, but with careful planning, we can create systems to keep our loved ones safe. 

That’s my passion.
